Covering a developing news story: Millions in back charges being incurred by shippers across US and beyond

We heard yesterday from a freight auditor that one of his customers is experiencing $1600-$2000 in excess charges from DIM Weight miscalculations weekly. It seems charges are especially high from odd shaped and reused larger boxes containing light weight products.

While this story is flying under the radar of the major media, we expect that it will emerge as an important story.

This blog will present a series of investigative pieces on how the DIM weight issue is rolling out across the US and beyond. Our intent is to make this blog a resource for the coverage of this issue.
